Bush Hills Community Garden is a vital branch of Bush Hills Connections, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serving the needs of residents in Historic Bush Hills Neighborhood.
We've turned the old Woodrow Wilson School site, into a vibrant community hub; where
the hard work of neighbors, not only cultivate and harvest fresh produce for
their tables, but also lasting relationships that strengthen the community. We are not just growing food, we
are growing COMMUNITY!  Â
We have multiple areas where neighbors and partners learn, bond, exercise, relax, meditate, and harvest:
*Teaching Garden
*Fruit Orchard
*Raised Beds
*Therapeutic Garden
We are focused on all things food - growing it, preparing it, and sharing it! We are an agriculture
education farm, where residents and partners learn to plant, cultivate, harvest,
preserve, prepare and enjoy a large variety of fresh produce.Â
We are pleased to offer free produce and classes to residents of Bush Hills. None residents are encouraged to make a donation to support the garden. Raised beds are available for a donation of $25.00 or more annually.
